A veteran actor of both theatre and screen. He is an alumni of National School Drama and a prolific stage actor. He is active in stage plays and is a renowned film and television artist who have worked in over eighty films and television series in Hindi, English and Telegu. He has won many awards in acting and is house-hold name when it comes to playing the role of an antagonist.

It is a common misconception that acting is the same for all medium. This class will break the myth and explain in totality the difference between stage acting and camera acting. How an actor should adjust himself in front of a film and television camera to make optimum use of his acting abilities will be dealt with in this master-class.

Documentary filmmaker. She has made films for PSBT, Films Division, Majlis, VPRO Netherlands and NHK Japan. TangellaMadhavi has also taught documentary film making at Sophia Polytechnic and has been a documentary mentor for Idocs (Documentary Resource Initiative), Documentor (Imphal) and was on the selection committee for International Documentary for Mumbai International Film Festival, 2015.
Subject:Documentary Film Making
One often thinks that documentaries need to be primarily information driven. The class will explore different forms of telling in documentaries and myriad ways in which Indian documentary filmmakers have experimented with the form. In the process, the attempt would be to understand the creative and aesthetics possibilities of this genre.

An SRFTI Alumnus, started his career with directing feature films and was associated with the noted film maker Late Shri Rituporno Ghosh, later opened his own production company and produced several television shows for Star India, Zee, Colors and he also worked as line producer for BBC and Bigsynergy.
Subject: Creative Producing
India is known to be the largest feature film producing country in the world. Producing doesn’t only mean arranging and providing finance for making films but something more then that. The class shall explore the role of the producer and the creativity and challenges it offers.

Professor Amaresh Chakrabarti graduated from FTII, Pune in 1985 and from 1999 onwards he has been heading the Direction & Screenplay Writing Department at SRFTI, Kolkata.
Subject:Screenplay Writing: Scene Construction.
What is a scene? How it is constructed by engaging the audience? The questions shall be explored in this session by viewing and deconstructing scenes from famous films.
